Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the third oldest daughter. She was the child of Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8] and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate developers. Her grandfather had come to Greece in 1904, and her mother was of Irish origin. She was wed to her parents in the year 1976. Psaki also has Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000 she graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in English as well as sociology. She is a participant in Chi Omega. While at William & Mary, Psaki was a competitive backstroke swimmer for the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki's career path began in 2001, when she became a part of the re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was in the position from 2005 until 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and also as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki as a political analyst for 2022 United States Elections and during the presidential campaign in 2024. In 2023, she will also host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform.
